On the ground
Built for the day,
not just the flight
The hangar
A 35-by-30-metre purpose-built hangar houses the aircraft, maintenance and mobility equipment, with a paved apron straight to the cockpit.
Amenities compound
Wheelchair-accessible restrooms and showers, an air-conditioned kitchen and accommodation units, and a large paved forecourt for easy loading. A mobility scooter covers the ground between hangar and amenities.
Cunderdin township
Ten minutes away: counter meals, country hospitality and accommodation in town or on the airfield. Bring the family — watching launches from the apron is half the day out.
Safety, briefed properly
Qualified instructors, dual controls on every flight, parachutes and a full pre-flight briefing. Two long, wide sealed runways and flat landing country in every direction — one reason we chose Cunderdin.

However suits you best. Some people transfer themselves at their own pace; others use our custom-built hoist. The paved apron runs right to the aircraft, a mobility scooter covers the distance between hangar and amenities, and extra assistance is always available. Comfort and dignity are part of the design, not an afterthought.
Yes — that is the whole point. Our ASK21Mi is the only aircraft in Australia with a hand-operated rudder in both cockpits. If you can’t use the foot pedals, the hand controller gives you the same full authority: climb, turn, thermal, land. A qualified instructor is beside you on dual controls the entire flight.
Air Experience Flights run from 30 minutes up to an hour with a qualified instructor. Trial Flight vouchers start from $160, and you can buy one for yourself or as a gift.
Gliding is a mature, regulated sport flown under Gliding Federation of Australia rules. Cunderdin gives us two long, wide sealed runways, flat emergency landing options in every direction, and a resident gliding club with an experienced instructor panel. Your flight is with a qualified instructor on dual controls, and we brief you fully — parachutes, weather, and all.
Soaring weather is best from spring through autumn, when wheatbelt thermals are strong. Mornings are smooth and gentle; afternoons give the best climbs. We’ll help you pick a date — and if the weather turns, we simply rebook. The simulator is air-conditioned and flies in any weather.
Sun-smart clothing, a brimmed hat for the ground, sunglasses, water, and closed shoes. The wheatbelt is hot in summer and our facilities are built to keep waiting time — and sun exposure — to a minimum. We’ll send a full checklist when you book.
Please bring them. Watching a launch from the apron is half the day out, the simulator is open for anyone to try, and the Cunderdin township is ten minutes away for lunch. Accommodation is available on the airfield and in town.

We’ll do the rest.
